Albuquerque, December 6—Today President Biden was in Arizona, and when asked why he wasn’t going to visit the border, he responded “because there are more important things going on.” Instead, Biden turned his attention to a visit to a manufacturing plant, as he refused to address the growing crisis at the Southern border.

Newly elected RPNM Treasurer Kim Kvamme, who lives in a border community in Hidalgo County, says what Biden did is shameful.

“The indifference the President showed toward the border and the critical issues facing residents there demonstrates a lack of care and understanding by the administration,” said Kvamme. “Biden has done nothing. Vice President Kamala Harris, the so-called “Border Czar” has done nothing. This administration has turned a blind eye to an ever-growing crisis.”

Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman and former Congressman Steve Pearce released the following statement on the President snubbing the border:

“The President is completely out of touch with what’s happening at our Southern border. It’s a crisis that has rocked our nation as millions of immigrants pour into our country, many without criminal, background or health checks. The cartels, drugs and gangs are threatening the safety of our border and nearby communities. Our kids there are not safe walking to school.  Even border agents are under attack. Biden’s callousness is an insult to everyone who is suffering from this crisis. This is why we need leadership that will do something to stop this horrible and dangerous open door policy.”
The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) advances the ideals of individual liberties for the advancement of its citizens and the greater prosperity of our communities throughout New Mexico. Led by an Executive Board and its Chairman, former NM Congressman Steve Pearce, RPNM serves all New Mexicans via its headquarters in Albuquerque and can be contacted at (505) 298-3662.

Your campaign to frighten us is itself “disgraceful” as well as un-Christian, and helped Dems win New Mexico. Try working across the aisle to fix the immigration system.

Conservative icon Bill Crystal went farther yesterday (12/7), saying that GOP leaders’ failure to call out Trump and his crimes is “pathetic.” He meant everyone from Kevin McCarthy and John Thune to local quails like Pearce, Skaggs and Curtis, and he warned that the party can’t go forward if leaders don’t start to lead.

  • Disgusting indeed says:

What’s disgraceful is GOP leadership failing to condemn Trump for saying we should terminate the Constitution.

I mean what does this pathetic man have to do to motivate GOP leaders to speak against him? Maybe if he wiped his as.s on the American flag while smoking a cigar rolled in the Constitution?
