The 2024 Republican State Pre-Primary Convention & State Central Committee Meeting—Register HERE.

Executive Officers

Steve Pearce
Chairman

From the son of a share-cropper to college graduate, decorated Combat Pilot, Small Business Entrepreneur, State Representative and US Congressman. In Congress, Steve was elected in a district that was 34% Republican, 52% Hispanic, 60% minority overall and the 2nd poorest district in the country – all indicating that he works well with constituents who have very divergent views and politics.

In Congress, Steve championed issues like Energy, Native American housing (because he saw the challenges of owning a home in his own family’s life) and policies and financial services for manufactured housing (because 50 % of the homes in the 2nd district are manufactured housing).

Steve fought for Veterans, leading the fight to expose corruption and poor service in the Veterans Affairs and fought to allow soldiers who suffered disability in combat to remain on active duty and earn retirement.

Steve played on the Congressional Baseball team and was present the day a gunman fired over 100 rounds at the Republican baseball team during practice.

After Congress, Steve served as Chair of the EXIM (Export-Import) Advisory Committee and as the State Chair of the Republican Party of New Mexico.
