Albuquerque, November 24—Today Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce issued the following statement on this Thanksgiving Day:

“The Republican Party of New Mexico and I extend our best wishes to everyone for a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. Despite the many hardships and disagreements we wrestle with every day, we as Americans have so much to be thankful for, and this special day is a reminder of the importance to gather with family and give thanks for the many blessings and treasured freedoms we all share. We have much to be grateful for– family, faith and freedom–and we all look forward to a happy and prosperous 2023. In particular, we want to thank our military for their service defending our nation and to all first responders and law enforcement for protecting our communities.

My family and I are also thankful for the opportunity to serve RPNM during this past year and are grateful for our volunteers and others who help in RPNM’s daily mission.

I wish you all a blessed Thanksgiving holiday. May your homes be filled with joy and happiness.”
The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) advances the ideals of individual liberties for the advancement of its citizens and the greater prosperity of our communities throughout New Mexico. Led by an Executive Board and its Chairman, former NM Congressman Steve Pearce, RPNM serves all New Mexicans via its headquarters in Albuquerque and can be contacted at (505) 298-3662.

No surprise that you thanked first responders who work in our communities but chose not to mention the first responders who helped save democracy on 1/6. Doing so would have forced you to admit that Loser Trump still leads the GOP, and since August 9 you’ve been hoping voters don’t notice.

New Mexico voters noticed and opted for Democrats.

We are thankful for the Republican leaders openly trying to find a path forward without Trump and wish New Mexico’s would join them.
