REPORT A VOTING INCIDENT: 505-305-0763

Albuquerque, September 16—The Republican Party of New Mexico is pleased to learn that an unwarranted lawsuit to remove Republican Attorney General candidate Jeremy Gay has been dismissed.

A judge ruled today in the First Judicial District Court in Santa Fe.

The Court rejected the notion that Gay should be removed based on residency requirements in New Mexico. In fact, the time in question—when Gay was out of state–was when he was serving in the military, fulfilling his duty in the U.S. Marines.

Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce issued the following statement:

“To try to boot someone out of a race for serving his nation is wrong and outrageous. This is a disgraceful way the progressive left is trying to disenfranchise voters. Jeremy has called New Mexico home since 2014. This last-minute attempt to remove our competent Attorney General candidate shows to what lengths the left will go. I am very pleased that the Court dismissed this case.”

Carter Harrison, who represented Gay and represents RPNM, released the following statement:

“The judge in Santa Fe recognized that this lawsuit was filed at the eleventh hour not only to try to deprive Jeremy Gay of a fair opportunity to defend himself, but to deprive all New Mexicans of any choice for AG in November — since it was filed just after the last day for the GOP to appoint a replacement candidate had he been disqualified. The fact that even the Democratic Secretary of State did the right thing and opposed this lawsuit shows just how egregious it was. It is truly bizarre is that the Democratic Party would try to subvert the democratic process by having the sole Black candidate is this race kicked off the ballot literally because he served as a JAG in the Marine Corps and had to go out of state to do so.”
The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) advances the ideals of individual liberties for the advancement of its citizens and the greater prosperity of our communities throughout New Mexico. Led by an Executive Board and its Chairman, former NM Congressman Steve Pearce, RPNM serves all New Mexicans via its headquarters in Albuquerque and can be contacted at (505) 298-3662.

    Jeremy is Gay.

Looks like the NM DP botched this one. Not knowing anything about the case I can only assume that my Party leaders failed to do enough research due to partisan zeal. I hope they learn from it.

Now we can assume Mr. Gay’s devotion to the law will force him to speak out against Loser Trump’s assault on the Constitution, Mr. Pearce’s “service” as a bogus elector, and Trump team’s crimes against national security.

If he doesn’t he’ll have plenty of egg on his face and have little chance in the general election.

All Republicans should be barred from holding office. The coup participants should be hung.

Fascist shouldn’t get a seat at the table. Support law enforcement and America, punch a fascist today!
