| Albuquerque, August 30–The following is a statement from Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce on hearing the sad news of the passing of Stephen Arias, the former New Mexico House Chief Clerk. Arias served as Chief Clerk for more than 30 years. “The Republican Party of New Mexico and I are deeply saddened to hear the news of Stephen’s death. He served in the Roundhouse for decades and was dedicated and committed to his job and to public service. Stephen was a driven worker who served as Chief Clerk with dignity and distinction. He was Chief Clerk when I served in the legislature, and he was always considerate, friendly and professional. We offer our sympathies to Stephen’s family and friends, and our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult time.” |

No new statement on Big Loser’s trove of documents he swore he didn’t have and probably broke more laws to keep.
NM GOP “leaders” must still believe that everyone on the Atlantic Coast is lying except Donald Trump. You’ll keep the GOP in the minority in NM for sure!
Another day and another filing by the Justice Department describing Loser Trump’s likely crimes with our national security docs. I look forward to a “comment” from NM’s MAGA “leaders” Pearce, Skaggs and Curtis on his selfish recklessness in this space today.

On the day of the 4th Amendment search of Trump’s estate you whined and lied about an FBI “raid.” Since then, not one word from you, despite clear evidence that the Big Loser probably committed crimes with national security documents, and that the FBI and Judicial branch followed facts properly. Not one word of support for the law, law enforcement or even national security.
With “leaders” like M. Pearce, Kim Skaggs and Mike Curtis, the Grand Old Party is sure to stay in the minority in New Mexico.
