| Albuquerque, June 13–The following is a statement from Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce on this past weekend’s trip to New Mexico by President Joe Biden: “President Biden’s recent trip to New Mexico to address the wildfires is just political grandstanding. More than 650,000 acres are still burning in multiple wildfires, destroying hundreds of homes with a financial impact in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Biden and our weak Governor haven’t dealt with this ongoing crisis head-on, both knowing they should have taken quicker action to crack down on the U. S. Forest Service’s ineptitude and botched wildfire management. The Calf Canyon-Hermits Peak blaze was a fire set purposely by the Forest Service in a bungled control burn. Biden’s trip was political theater and months too late, and he should be visiting the New Mexico border that’s an ongoing crisis. New Mexico communities continue to be endangered by thousands of migrants who get no health or criminal background checks and who are flooding our communities.” |

Hey Pearce and Curtis, did you complain about President Trump’s grandstanding when he came to El Paso after a massacre and talked about crowd size at his rallies?
You should find something important to whine about, such as witnesses who won’t testify to the 1/6/21 panel or the Senate’s inability to pass sensible gun restrictions that voters want.
If your most powerful impulse is self-pity, the same drive that binds the MAGA movement, the GOP will stay in the minority in New Mexico.

If the Republican party is not held accountable for the coup on January 6th, then the republic and it’s Constitution are lost.
