| Albuquerque, July 4—The following is a statement from RPNM Chairman Steve Pearce in observance of this Independence Day: “Today we celebrate our nation’s independence, a day to reflect and commemorate our nation’s struggles and glory to become the world’s great democracy that means freedom and liberty for all Americans. We should celebrate and be thankful for all of those people throughout history who have served, protected and sacrificed in the name of this freedom. We honor and celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 which forged an independent and united nation whose principles were founded on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” |
