| IMMEDIATE RELEASE March 27, 2026 Attention State Central Committee Members, The officers and leadership of RPNM have taken this matter seriously and have exercised the due diligence necessary to ensure that the Uniform State Rules were thoroughly reviewed and properly applied. Following that review, the leadership has determined that the claim that the Chairwoman’s office has been vacated is unsupported under the uniform state rules, and there is no legitimate basis to move forward with any effort to fill the position on that premise. With the documentation below, the RPNM considers this matter to be resolved. I am ready to put this behind us and continue moving the party forward. Let’s turn our focus to where it belongs: defeating Democrats and winning elections across New Mexico”, said Chairwoman Amy Barela. County chairs, please redirect your attention to getting out the vote for every candidate in your districts and statewide. Remember the map we showed you at the convention of the work needed to elect statewide candidates due to deficits etc. MAP Under the leadership of Chairwoman Amy Barela we have built real momentum. We are seeing growth, increased engagement, and measurable success. The opportunity in front of us is significant. New Mexico is more competitive than it has been in years. But we only succeed if we stand together. So, we ask you directly: will you stand with Chairwoman Amy Barela, as your duly elected Chair, to flip New Mexico red or will you stand in opposition to that mission? The choice is yours. We are ready to win. And we are ready to move forward, together. Respectfully, James Townsend, National Committeeman Tina Dziuk, National Committeewoman Amy Barela, RPNM Chair Michael Nelson, RPNM 1st Vice Chair Rachel Martinez, RPNM 2nd Vice Chair Kim Skaggs, RPNM Treasurer Kathleen Apodaca, RPNM Secretary Shona Neff, RPNM CD2 Vice Chair Teresa Barncastle, RPNM CD3 Vice Chair Leticia Munoz, RPNM Executive Director ### |
