NEW MEXICO-OCTOBER 18, 2025
Statement from the Republican Party of New Mexico on the “No Kings” Protests

Across New Mexico, protests are being organized under the banner of “No Kings,” but many New Mexicans are left wondering, what exactly does this movement stand for.  Are they uniting Marxists? Supporting communism, Antifa, or even Hamas? Are they calling for anarchy?

Whatever the message behind these protests may be, it stands in stark contrast to what President Donald J. Trump has been doing for this country, putting America and Americans first. For the first time in modern history, we have a president who prioritizes the people over the political elite, families over government control, and the future of our children over the agendas of Washington insiders.

New Mexicans are smart. We can see through the confusion and division. It’s time to vote differently and change the direction of our state. Let’s put our children’s education and care first — the right way. Once we can educate ourselves, we can educate others. Let’s put our healthcare first — because when we can care for ourselves, we can care for others. Let’s put victims over criminals, veterans over illegal citizens, and the unborn over the abortion industry that has made New Mexico the abortion capital of the United States.

The so-called “No Kings” movement promotes ideas that weaken our communities; mask and vaccine mandates, no school choice, poor educational standards, and growing government dependency. These policies don’t empower people; they control them.
New Mexicans deserve better. We deserve leaders who put faith, family, freedom, and the future of our state first. Today, as protests fill our streets with confusion and division, let’s stand firm in our values — and vote for a New Mexico that puts people before politics.
