| NEW MEXICO AUGUST 25- We recognize that the First Amendment is one of the most cherished foundations of our nation, guaranteeing the right to free expression. At the same time, we must acknowledge that our American Flag is more than fabric — it is a sacred symbol of freedom, unity, and sacrifice. Generations of brave men and women have fought and died to defend what it represents. This Executive Order is a step toward restoring respect for our country and strengthening the sense of unity that binds us together as Americans. While protecting constitutional freedoms, it reinforces that acts intended to provoke violence or undermine public peace cannot be tolerated. We believe that America must once again build a culture of respect for our institutions, our history, and our national identity.
