REPORT A VOTING INCIDENT: 505-305-0763

ALBUQUERQUE, APRIL 10—Today, the SAVE Act, which requires proof of citizenship to register to vote, passed the U.S. House of Representatives 220-208 with only four Democrats joining Republicans to support the common-sense election integrity measure. All three Democrat representatives from New Mexico voted against proof of citizenship to vote, shining light on the current state of the modern Democrat Party and their utmost resistance to protecting the integrity of our elections.

Ash Soular, spokeswoman for the Republican Party of New Mexico, issued the following statement:

“New Mexicans firmly believe only U.S. citizens should vote in our elections, yet Reps Teresa Leger Fernández, Melanie Stansbury, and Gabe Vasquez voted against the SAVE Act—a common-sense law requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. No other country allows non-citizens to vote in its elections, which begs the question: Do they want to destroy our democratic process, or why else would they so blatantly ignore the voices of the New Mexicans they swore to serve?”

  • Galen Shelden says:

The reason they voted against the SAVE act is because most all Democrats are going along to get along with their base and their goal is to undermine the Republican Party with illegal non citizen votes for their party. That is plain and simple and easy to see with their excuses for voting against it, which don’t hold a drop of water. And this isn’t something new. This started overtly when Biden took office in 2020! He welcomed illegals to come across an open border to get them on the voting roll.

  • JH Cole says:

Fact: The US does not allow non-citizens to vote.

Fact: Non-citizens know they can be deported if they try to vote, so very few ever try.

Fact: Only a tiny number of non-citizens have been documented as voting, despite the lies from the bill’s supporters.

A big reason New Mexico voters keep sending Democrats to congress is to support immigrants and vote against bigoted, partisan attacks on poor people.

    • Galen Shelden says:

There a news article out over this weekend where Arizona officials found 50,000 voters in their voting database who were not “US” citizens and now are removing them. And this is not just isolated to Arizona. This explains why the we’re given SS #’s, and put on the Medicaid with an ID card.
