Albuquerque, April 4 — Today, former President Donald Trump voluntarily surrendered himself to Manhattan authorities to hear his indictment charges and formally respond to them. The former president’s previously unsealed indictment charges were made public this afternoon. Trump pleaded not guilty to all thirty-four felony counts made against him.
Republican Party of New Mexico and former Congressman Steve Pearce issued the following statement:
“The charges released today only add more questions about the credibility of this indictment. No new information was given in the unsealed documents. Federal and district prosecutors previously decided not to charge the same allegations made against former President Trump almost seven years ago. Prosecuting district attorney Alvin Bragg was rightfully asked today, ‘Why now?‘
We all know why.
It’s disheartening that cases of political vengeance can prevail in America. Our country is facing an epidemic of political injustice, something New Mexicans experience daily. Progressives refuse to hold violent criminals accountable and release them back onto our streets.
Alvin Bragg also has a long, disturbing history of letting violent criminals off the hook. Some of the most alarming cases include him offering a sweetheart plea deal to a suspect charged in the brutal anti-Semitic beating of a Jewish man. Additionally, he gave a sweetheart plea deal and released a man accused of raping his teenage relative who then went on to allegedly commit five more sex crimes.
People are fed up and can see through the hypocrisy. In a CNN poll, 76% of people said they believe politics played a role in former President Trump’s indictment. We cannot allow our justice system to be politicized, but unfortunately, that’s exactly what the left is doing.”
Wow, Steve is all over the place with this one.
Crazy Steve’s arguments?
1. Unfounded indictment/picking on Trump
3. Violent Crime still exist therefor no other crime can be addressed.
Steve Pierce knows a thing or two about “political injustice” actions.
During the 2020 elections, Steve Pierce and other NM Republicans where part of the coup and conspiracy to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
Steve organized a group of fake electors and submitted the fake votes to the national archive. This was part of Trumps plan on J6 for Mike Pence and Congress to fail to certify the electoral college votes and then substitute the fake electors for the real ones.
Steve, literally tried to switch NM’s electoral college vote from Biden to Trump even thought NM voters had chosen Biden.
Steve, Trump, and the GOP in general think they know better than voters and that they are entitled to power.
Trump in addition to being a pig of a man and an adulterer is also the first American president to try and remain in power after loosing an election. Steve is a weak tool that thought he could get the governorship given to him if he helped a would be tyrant overthrow the Constitutional order.
Trump and his accomplices belong at the gallows. Justice to the enemies of America, long live the republic.
Hey Steve, have you been practicing your resignation speech? It’s time to do whats best for the party and leave.
If you could take credit for all the Trump worship/coup stuff before you go and take that baggage with you that would be great.
Let’s see, 34 counts from New York with the US DoJ and Georgia on deck. Bagman Cohen already served time for his role in the NY case, and somewhere prosecutors are investigating Jared and the loser’s children to see how they’re getting their money.
Meanwhile, the GOP flushes tax dollars on Benghazi and Hunter Biden’s laptop with no factual results and GOP “leaders” can’t figure out why their minority is shrinking.
