Albuquerque, January 1—Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman and former Congressman Steve Pearce issued the following statement today in observance of New Year’s Day:

“The Republican Party and I would like to wish everyone a happy and blessed New Year. May your 2023 be filled with joy, good health and prosperity. As 2023 begins, I am confident about our Party’s goals across the state. Happy New Year to everyone and God bless you all.”

    Moderate Republicans, centrists and independents would think it might be a happy New Year if you finally discussed loser Trump’s crimes, and proposed a way to move forward without him. They notice that you have not used the word “Trump” in this space since August 9th, and they would rather have your pledge to help save our democracy instead of your vapid wishes.

    BTW, they also notice you deleted the links to social media to make it harder on us to send our comments to a wider audience.
