Albuquerque, December 7—Today marks the 81st anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, an assault on Democracy that must never be forgotten.
The following is a statement from RPNM Chairman and former Congressman Steve Pearce on this National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day:

“Today we honor and remember the 2,403 Americans who lost their lives during a surprise Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on December 7, 1941. It was 81 years ago that the United States lost 2,008 sailors, 218 soldiers and airmen, 109 marines and 68 civilians. On this occasion, we all salute those service members who fought back in this attack on this “date which will live in infamy.” These brave Americans helped establish the Greatest Generation at a time when Democracy was threatened and proudly defended. We must honor all of those who fight for our freedom and our nation.”
The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) advances the ideals of individual liberties for the advancement of its citizens and the greater prosperity of our communities throughout New Mexico. Led by an Executive Board and its Chairman, former NM Congressman Steve Pearce, RPNM serves all New Mexicans via its headquarters in Albuquerque and can be contacted at (505) 298-3662.
  • J6 worse than Pearl Harbor and 9/11 says:

Remember that day that will live in infamy 12/7, never forget 9/11, never forgive J6.

Justice will be brought to the enemies of America both for and domestic.

  • JH Cole says:

Mr. Pearce says, “We must honor all of those who fight for our freedom and our nation. . . ,” but he has yet to thank the law enforcement people who protected democracy and congress on 1/6/2021. He also hasn’t condemned the Trump team and all its crimes against national security.
The GOP needs real leadership to become relevant again in NM, but there’s no sign of it yet.
