Albuquerque, September 29—Republican 3rd Congressional District candidate Alexis Martinez Johnson has been recognized by the National Republican Congressional Committee, by making the GOP’s “Young Guns” list.

To be a part of the “Young Guns” program, a candidate has to reach certain fundraising levels and demonstrate excellent messaging and communications. The honor means Martinez Johnson is acknowledged to be a top-tier candidate by national leaders.

U.S. House Minority leader Kevin McCarthy says the nation needs leaders like Martinez Johnson, who are running efficient and effective political campaigns.

The fact that Martinez Johnson was named to the “Young Guns” program shows that this Congressional race is much more competitive than Democrats had anticipated and much closer than expected.

“I congratulate Alexis and am very pleased that she has been chosen to become a “Young Guns” candidate,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce. “She will help energize and build a Republican Party in Washington that promotes the true values of our nation. I am confident that she, along with other strong Republican Congressional candidates across the country, will take the majority in the U.S. House in November and build a better and lasting future for the GOP.”

“I’m proud to join fellow Republican candidates in becoming a Young Gun,” said Martinez Johnson. “This seat is in play because New Mexicans across the 3rd Congressional District can’t afford the policies of Joe Biden and Teresa Leger Fernandez that are causing high gas prices, skyrocketing inflation, and rising crime waves. I’m grateful to Leader McCarthy, Representative Stefanik, Representative Scalise, and Republicans across the nation for believing in our race. It’s time we bring common sense back to Washington.”
The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) advances the ideals of individual liberties for the advancement of its citizens and the greater prosperity of our communities throughout New Mexico. Led by an Executive Board and its Chairman, former NM Congressman Steve Pearce, RPNM serves all New Mexicans via its headquarters in Albuquerque and can be contacted at (505) 298-3662.

Republicans who will not repent from the big lie and the coup against democracy should be put to the sword.

    Don’t tolerate traitors

  • JH Cole says:

“Young Gun” is an apt metaphor for the party that obstructs common-sense firearms regulations. It fits right in with Herrell’s “God, Guns and Trump!” Alexis should say if she signs on to that slogan.

This article does not mention what she’s for, just that she blames Dems for everything, such as high crime rates. She probably hopes we don’t know that eight of the ten states with the highest crime rates are red states.
