| Albuquerque, September 11— Today marks 21 years since the September 11th attacks on America, four coordinated attacks by al-Qaeda that killed nearly 3,000 people on American soil. The Republican Party of New Mexico remembers the victims of 9/11 and honors the heroes on that horrific day, a dark page in American history that has forever changed America, the world and the way we all live today. The following is a statement from Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce on today’s commemoration of September 11: “We must always honor the memory of those innocent Americans who lost their lives in these horrific attacks, and we must always pay tribute to the first responders and others for their heroism, their sacrifices, and to those who saved so many lives on this day. Many of those brave Americans fought the terrorists and saved lives. The 9/11 attacks were an evil, unspeakable assault on Democracy, freedom and our way of life. We all pray that America remains vigilant and strong in the war on terror. On this September 11, America must come together as one nation, proud and strong, and we as Americans must never forget the freedoms we cherish daily.” |

Still no comment from the GOP’s gutless “leaders” about the Trump team’s crimes against national security (docs) and assault on democracy (2020 to 1/6/21 to now). No comment about Clown Couy’s removal.
Kim Skaggs is running for the state house but she won’t comment, and she declined to appear with opponent Nathan Small on KRWG’s “Candidate Forum.”
With craven “leaders” like this, the GOP will stay in the minority in NM.
9-11 was a dark day for America and a vicious attack against Americans.
But the Taliban was never a threat to democracy or the American way of life.
The J6 insurrection, the big lie, and the GOP’s on going coup against democracy on the other hand strikes at the heart of American way of life.
We should never forget the moments in history when enemies of America did us great harm through treachery: Pearl Harbor, September 11th and January 6th.
The enemies of America shall be brought low.
How dare you compare 911 to J6 insurrection and the Republican Party.
This comparison is grossly unfair and undervalues the GOP’s contributions to the downfall of the USA.
The Taliban killed just short of 3000 on 911 but in 2020 the GOP’s covid denial lead to hundreds of thousands of American dead.
The Taliban are right wing extremists novices who failed to institute Shariah Law in the USA. The GOP and its stacked supreme court have succeeded in stripping women of bodily autonomy to appease the religious sensibilities of right wing extremists.
The Taliban and GOP both hate America and it’s people. The Taliban just wants to destroy America.
The Republican Party wants to destroy the constitution and American way of life so they can subjugate its citizens with extremists minority rule.
