CALL is hereby made to all RPNM State Central Committee Members to attend a State Central Committee Meeting on August 9, 2022, held at 6 PM MDT via Zoom.

This State Central Committee Meeting has two specific agenda items.

1. Vote to reaffirm Amy Barela as CD2 Vice Chair as she stepped down during her contested primary race for Otero County Commissioner.
2. Vote whether or not to incorporate RPNM.

2-1-4. STATE – CENTRAL COMMITTEE – STATE OFFICERS

C. Vacancies:
1. General: Any vacancy occurring in the office of any State Central Committee officer shall be filled by the State Executive Committee and confirmed at the next meeting of the State Central Committee, provided that, in case of the vacancy of the chairmanship of the State
Central Committee, a meeting of that committee shall be called by the first vice-chairman or, in his or her absence, the second vice  chairman for a time not later than thirty (30) days after such vacancy occurs, for the purpose of selecting a  permanent state chairman. In the event the first vice-chairman or, in his or her absence, the second vice chairman fails or refuses to call such a meeting, a meeting for the same purpose may be called, with proper notice, by any ten (10) members of the State Central Committee

Special Rules proposed for this SCC meeting are:

1. No proxies will be allowed because it is an electronic Meeting.
2. The parliamentary procedure used, shall be the “rule of the gavel.”
