Albuquerque, June 22–The Republican Party is becoming more empowered with the latest example being the election of more African Americans in the recent Primaries across the nation. African Americans are helping the GOP grow with their involvement and success at all political levels. Here in New Mexico, Anthony Thorton is poised to become the state’s first African American lieutenant governor. Jeremy Gay, an African American, is the GOP nominee for New Mexico Attorney General. RNC’s Spokesman and Director of Black Media Affairs says Republican voters added more Black Republicans to the ballot in November during June primaries and runoffs in South Carolina, California, New Jersey, New Mexico, Virginia and Washington D.C.. These are outstanding candidates who are ready to usher in a new season of Republican leadership with conservative policies that will improve, protect, and empower the lives of their constituents when elected in November. “The conservative policies of the Republican Party are the only chance that America has to recover from the nightmare that we are now experiencing and make Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream a reality in our nation,” said Clarence Washington, African American author and Pastor at Abundant Life Community Church in Albuquerque. “The Marxist self-congratulation agenda as a basis for social policy of the Democratic party is demonically inspired and has put America in a rapidly increasing decline in every area of life that we will not recover from if they (Democrats) are not voted out of office as quickly as possible.” Jewll Powdrell, an African American, is a member of RPNM’s Executive Committee: “Republican voters throughout the United States have concluded that what was once right, is now wrong, and what was once wrong is now right. This prevailing attitude has resulted in many voters reevaluating how they elect those individuals whom they choose to represent their goals, ideals, and dreams at all levels of our government. Black Republican politicians fully understand the idea that ‘If you continue to do the same thing over and over again, you will achieve the same results.’ Now, there has been a shift in voters thinking that as citizens we can no longer adhere to the status quo. Black Republicans running for public office have determined that empty promises will not get them elected, but directly addressing the needs of voters regardless of party affiliation will significantly increase their ability to achieve success.” Black Republicans continue to win primaries in South Carolina, California, New Jersey, New Mexico, Virginia and Washington D.C.: SOUTH CAROLINA Tim Scott (U.S. Senate) Duke Buckner (SC-06) Harriet Holman (Dorchester County Council District 1) CALIFORNIA Angela Underwood Jacobs (Lt. Governor) Tamika Hamilton (CA-06) Brian Hawkins (CA-25) Joe Collins (CA-36) Aja Smith (CA-39) Eric Rigard (Assembly District-10) NEW JERSEY Billy Prempeh (NJ-09) NEW MEXICO Anthony “Ant” Thornton (Lt. Governor) Jane E. Powdrell-Culbert (District 44) Jeremy Gay (Attorney General) VIRGINIA Terry Namkung (VA-03) Leon Benjamin Sr. (VA-04) |
The Republican Party of New Mexico (RPNM) advances the ideals of individual liberties for the advancement of its citizens and the greater prosperity of our communities throughout New Mexico. Led by an Executive Board and its Chairman, former NM Congressman Steve Pearce, RPNM serves all New Mexicans via its headquarters in Albuquerque and can be contacted at (505) 298-3662. |
Today the US DOJ issued subpoenas to participants in the bogus MAGA presidential electoral plot to subvert the 1/6/21 vote count. Steve Pearce is one of the bogus electors, so we need to know if he expects to get one when the next batch comes. We also need to know who invited him into the unconstitutional scam.
Does he still support the Big Lie and Trump’s active coup attempt? His cowardly silence does not uphold his oath to support the Constitution when he represented CD2. Maybe he now thinks democracy is his enemy.
He owes it to every New Mexican who ever voted for him to come clean on the 2020 election and the ongoing coup. But he won’t.
With leaders like him the GOP will stay in the minority in New Mexico and none of the GOP’s statewide candidates of any description have much of a chance in November.
