| Rio Rancho, NM, March 1—RPNM has learned that absentee ballots are being rejected in today’s municipal elections in Rio Rancho. These ballots require photo IDs, and that’s not being done properly. The Rio Rancho City Clerk confirms there have been 41 absentee ballots so far that have been turned down. If voters receive a rejection letter they are being asked to go into the City Clerk’s Office at 3200 Civic Center Drive NE, Suite 150, Rio Rancho, NM, 87144. These ballot rejections show once again the need for proper ID and again demonstrate the ease with which election fraud can happen. If a voter needs to verify that an absentee ballot is valid, he/she may call the City Clerk at: 505-896-8708. The deadline to validate a rejected absentee ballot to ensure your vote will be counted is Thursday, March 3 at 4pm. RPNM again continues to fight for election integrity. Voters in the Rio Rancho election are choosing their mayor, councilors and deciding Ballot Questions. |
