Albuquerque, February 1—The following is a statement from RPNM Chairman Steve Pearce on news of Sen. Ben Ray Lujan suffering a stroke:
 
The Republican Party of New Mexico and I are saddened to learn of Sen. Lujan’s stroke, and we wish him a speedy recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Senator and his family during this difficult time.”

    If Sen Lujan is too ill to do his job, then obviously there needs to be a remedy for that, such as his resignation from his position and a re-appointment of someone else by his cousin, Governor Lujan-Grisham.

    Why did the Republican party not vote for the hydrogen plant? We could be the energy leader in the US. Sounds petty if it’s just because it’s a democratic idea
