RPNM statement on Georgia U.S. runoff election.
The following is a statement from Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce after the Georgia runoff elections gave the Democratic Party control of the U.S. Senate:
“With Democrats now controlling the U.S. Senate, the America we know will likely stray into dangerous waters. The Democratic Party has shifted to a radical, leftist agenda that’s become the new norm. We face an Administration that’s shifted to the extreme left with socialist policies that will lead our country into decline. If the Administration enacts even a portion of the plans it campaigned on, it will cause irreparable damage to our core values and freedoms. Taxes will rise, our oil and gas industry will be lost and the unborn will not be protected. Our Constitutional rights and freedoms will be compromised.”
