Albuquerque, January 29–The following is Republican Party Chairman Steve Pearce’s statement on President Trump’s signing the USMCA trade deal today in Washington:
“This is a great win for the United States and fulfills President Trump’s campaign promise to get rid of NAFTA and replace it with something better. Today’s signing of the USMCA trade deal is a terrific accomplishment by the Administration. This will revitalize our auto manufacturing industry and improve labor standards. It’s also a huge victory for our farmers, ranchers and the agriculture industry in general. This deal will mean billions in U.S. exports and demonstrates how President Trump continues to improve trade and keep America strong economically. It’s unfortunate that this great trade deal is being shadowed by the impeachment sham. The President continues to strengthen our nation and fight for Americans everywhere.”
