Republican Party of New Mexico Releases Statement on the United Kingdom Voting to Leave the European Union

Albuquerque, NM – Today, the Republican Party of New Mexico released the following statement on the result of the “Brexit” vote:

“This referendum was a testimony to how tired people are worldwide with the leadership of out-of-touch elites not addressing the issues that affect them the most, specifically trade and immigration,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Debbie Maestas. “There are a lot of parallels between what happened in the U.K. last night and what Trump is focusing on here in the U.S. We as American voters rightfully have a lot of the same concerns, which is all the more reason we need change in November.”
