Republican Party of New Mexico Releases Statement on Governor Martinez Signing Solvency Package

Albuquerque, NM – Today, the Republican Party of New Mexico released the following statement on Governor Martinez signing of the solvency package:

“We are thankful that Gov. Martinez has not only signed a solvency package but taken the care to use her line item veto to protect our state’s budget from some of the reckless and unnecessary cuts legislative Democrats added to the package,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Spokesman Tucker Keene. “Gov. Martinez has saved funding for classrooms and economic development, ensuring that we balance our budget without cutting back on the programs so vital to our state’s success.”
