New Mexico GOP Announces Senior Staff Hires
Albuquerque, NM – The Republican Party of New Mexico announced its new campaign staff on Tuesday. The staff hires include Robert Talbot as executive director, Todd Johnson as political director, Natalie Offenbecher as finance director and Patrick Garrett as communications director.
“Over these past few years, Governor Martinez, Congressman Pearce and legislative Republicans have offered commonsense ideas to put New Mexicans first,” said Debbie Maestas, Chairman of the Republican Party of New Mexico. “With this new team, we plan to advance those ideas that are benefiting New Mexico and taking the state forward.”
Robert Talbot is a veteran of several political campaigns across the country including local, statewide and national races. Most recently, he was the RNC State Director in Arkansas— leading Republicans to massive victories up and down the ballot. As executive director, Talbot will oversee the Party’s day-to-day operations.
Todd Johnson has worked several NM campaigns with his most recent work on the Allen Weh for US Senate Campaign—specializing in grassroots organization. As political director, he will be in charge of building a robust grassroots operation, helping Republican candidates across the state including the eventual Republican nominee for president.
Offenbecher is a veteran of several campaigns in California. Previously, she worked for Capital Development Strategies doing political fundraising. As the finance director, she will ensure the New Mexico GOP has the necessary resources to keep operations running effectively.
Garrett was previously the press secretary for the House Republicans during the legislative session. As communications director, he will serve as the spokesman and articulate the Party’s principles and goals for New Mexico.
