A: Thursday January 23rd, 5:00pm, Eldorado Hotel located at 309 West San Francisco St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
Q: What is the cost to attend?
A: Options: $120 per individual, or $1800 for a reserved table of 10, or email [email protected] for sponsorship information.
Q: When is the last day to RSVP?
A: Seats are limited so once we fill up the registration will close. We will only take walk ins at the door if seats are still available.
Q; How do I know if my registration was accepted?
A: You should receive an email confirmation, and or you will see the charge on your bank statement from WinRed.
Q: Are there Hotel Rooms with a discounted rate for those attending the Legislative Reception?
A: No, you will need to call the Hotel directly to reserve your room at 505-988-4455.
Q: Where do I park?
A: There is valet parking in the garage under the Hotel for a fee of $20. When you are ready to pick up your car, visit the front desk valet for payment to pick up your car. Secondary parking is available at a City Lot at the corner of Sandoval and Water Street for a fee of $12. To ensure you have parking please arrive early for check in because the parking lots will fill up fast. See the screenshot below of the Eldorado and both parking locations marked with a blue P.
Q: What time does check in start:
A: Check in starts at 4:30pm. There is a lounge for those arriving early to relax and wait if necessary.
Q: What is the start time?
A: 5:00pm – The lounge/bar area will be open ALONG WITH the Ballroom. There will be 1 Bartender/Bar located in the Ballroom. So, you may mingle in the lounge area and or go into the Ballroom to find your seating and mingle in the Ballroom. We will ask that everyone convene into the Ballroom by 6:00pm.
Q: What time will the food be served?
A: Dinner rolls, Market Salad and Dessert will be on the tables in the Ballroom starting at 5:00pm. The main entrée will be served at 6:15pm.
Q: What is the main entrée and is there a Vegan alternative?
A: The main entrée will be a Grilled flat iron steak, with two vegetable sides. There will be a vegan alternative entrée of Chickpea and Quinoa Filet with two vegetable sides. Should you wish to have the alternative entrée please email [email protected] and let us know.
Q: Who will Emcee the main event?
A: Amy Barela, Republican Party of New Mexico Chair
Q: Who are the guest speakers?
A: Gail Armstrong, NM House Leader and William (Bill) Sharer, NM Senate Leader
Q: Will I be able to meet and speak to the legislators?
A: Mingling happens before and after the main event. So please arrive early and or plan to stay afterwards should you wish to visit with any of the legislators, state party officers, and or county party officers in attendance.
Q: Why is this event held on a Thursday evening?
A: The event is scheduled for the first week of the Legislative Session. Many of the Legislators head home on Friday for the weekend to spend with their families. Thursday is the optimal time for them to enjoy a fabulous dinner and mingle ahead of a 60-day Session in Santa Fe.
