Democrats Fail to Defend Sanchez on “Job Fair”

Albuquerque, NM – In response to the revelation that most of the organizations in attendance at Senator Michael Sanchez’s “job fair” in Belen on Wednesday were not hiring, the Democrat Party of New Mexico cynically tried to smear Governor Martinez for the economic situation that Sanchez has been in a position to fix for over 20 years.

“You’ll notice the Democrats couldn’t refute the fact that many of the organizations attending Sanchez’s event were not hiring,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Spokesman Tucker Keene. “The people of New Mexico and Valencia County need the pro-job policies that Sanchez and Senate Democrats routinely block, not campaign stunts disguised as job fairs.”
