Official Call
Call is hereby made for the State Central Committee Meeting and 2020 Republican State Pre-Primary Convention on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at the Hotel Albuquerque, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to be held at 8:30 am, and for a State Central Committee meeting to be held at 8:00 am immediately preceding the Convention.
The State Central Committee will:
- Consider any contests of Delegations to the State Convention
- Determine the Temporary Roll of Delegates to the State Convention
- Select the Temporary Officers of the State Convention
- Prescribe any special rules for the Convention
- Propose amendments to the Uniform State Rules
- Consider any other proper business
The Convention will:
- Select U.S. Senate, U.S. Representatives and Statewide Candidates to be placed on the New Mexico Primary Election ballot
Contests to County Delegations to the 2020 Republican State Pre-Primary Convention are to be filed in writing with the RPNM Secretary no later than 5:00 pm, Friday, February 28, 2020, at RPNM, 5150A San Francisco NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. Please see Uniform State Rules 2-2-6-A.

Dates of Registration: Monday, February 3 through Friday, February 21, 2020.
Dates of Late Registration: Saturday, February 22 through Friday, February 28, 2020.
All proxies must be registered by February 28, 2020.
There will be NO Same Day registration. There will be NO exceptions.
Delegates: Please call RPNM to verify your registration if someone else has registered you.
2020 Republican State Pre-Primary Convention State Central Committee members, delegates, candidates, campaign staff, and guests must be properly registered Republicans in the State of New Mexico. For those out-of-state campaign staff and/or guests not properly registered Republicans in the State of New Mexico, please submit their names to RPNM prior to February 19, 2020.

Fees
Fees may be paid to RPNM by check in person or by mail. Fees may also be paid by credit card by telephone at 505-298-3662 or online at http://newmexico.gop/2020-pre-primary-convention/
If you fit within more than one registration category, then the highest registration category will apply. You will not be charged for multiple categories. Only one registration fee is assessed at the time of registration. If payment for the Convention is not paid prior to 5:00pm on Friday, February 28, 2020, for any state central committee members, delegates, candidates, campaign staff, and/or guests, you will be considered unregistered and therefore not eligible for participation in the 2020 Republican State Pre-Primary Convention.
Regardless of attendance, there are direct costs incurred, therefore fees are determined based on costs to host the State Pre-Primary Convention.

Candidate Receptions
RPNM will host a reception beginning at 5:00pm in the Franciscan Room. Early checkin and packet pickup will be available at the reception.
RPNM will not be involved in the booking, handling or hosting of any Candidate Reception.

OFFICIAL PROXY FORMS
Any properly elected delegate may appoint any qualified registered Republican voter of his or her county as his or her proxy to act and vote in his or her stead at the Republican State Pre-Primary Convention.
Each Official Proxy must be signed by the delegate giving the proxy and will name the person to be the proxy, will name the convention for which given, and will state the date it was signed. Proxies are valid only if signed by both the delegate and the the proxy carrier. A signed form must be turned in at check in time.
For a proxy to be registered it must be turned in at check in time for proper credentials.
No person will be permitted to hold and/or exercise more than five (5) proxies to the Republican State Pre-Primary Convention.
